They are rude and aggressive- am particularly concernd about one Lutalo who recently visited Bulindo trading Centre. Talk to him he is turnishing the image of the town council. He behaves like a non professional. when you ask for his name he says he is nameless.

I don't understand how the school can oblige parents to build a shool fence when a student went out without permission. they should find an other way to punish the student who escaped so that he could not repeat the sama mistake, instead of puting all his family in the problem to find money of constructing the fence of the school. an other problem problem : how can you say that if the money are not paid, the suitcase of the student will be requisitonned at the school when they go in the vacation, as if something had been damaged. Please, try to find an other solution

There is no hindi teacher in the school for the last two and half months for senior classes. The hindi teacher who was already teaching here, was asked to teach lower classes. And so, the teacher resigned, though she said that she is resigning due to her personal problems. In the next 15 days again this will be the same for other subjects too. We really dont understand whether the dps management is aware of these problems inside the school or have they decided to shut the school forever and also tp get a bad name... for this reputed dps group.

There is a huge problem going inside the school, the teachers are being harassed and insulted in the meetings, from the time the new principal came, lot of teachers resigned, she is forcing the teachers to do things. The school at kampala was designed to provide education to the indian children who are residing there, but if this principal is going to continue, may be next year most of the parents would shift to IIS school which is operating nearby. Teachers like santosh, subash, monika, navinder, katembo, tulsi, etc have resigned due to the rude behaviour of the Mrs.Anita(Principal) towards them. There are many more who will also resign may be in 2-3 months or by the end of this academic year. Teachers who never used to take leave has started taking leaves because of the behaviour of the principal. She is behaving like a monarch, who only wants her voice to be heard and is not interested in listening to any others advice. Here almost all the indian teachers as well as students travel in cars which the company provides their husband/father. There are lot of limitations for the students as well as teachers living here. Inspite of understanding human values or the feelings of the people, principal is just interested in making her new rules and regulations. She is asking the teachers to spend some part of their money for the school. One thing to be noticed here is that the teachers are not all paid the salary, which they will get in India. According to her a teacher, working in DPS should leave the family and should laid down their life for DPS. What we heard about DPS is that it is one of the well known group of schools, but due to her, i am sure, by next year, DPS will have no students and teachers, if this continues. A school should always try to maintain teachers for a long time.. If in a school every two months a teacher changes, it affects the studies of children. Meetings are also being conducted unnecessarily just to boast about herself, which is utter stupidity. A school needs system, but the system should not be so rigid. Depending upon the country, the system needs to be applied, One cannot apply the same type of system which is followed in india, in uganda. Since, in uganda there are lot of limitations for indians. A person who dont understand the people, is not at all fit to sit in that place.
